Nine area teams are perfect

Reaching the halfway point of the high school season, nine Panhandle teams are undefeated: Hereford in Class 4A; Bushland and Muleshoe in 2A; Sunray, Wheeler and Wellington in 1A; and Happy, Lefors and Miami in Six-Man.

However, at least one team will fall from the unbeaten ranks tonight as Lefors is playing at Happy.
