# What To Look For: This is Borger's first home game after wins against Pampa (45-43) and Caprock (28-27). It is Bushland's first road game after home wins against Lubbock Cooper (48-9) and Perryton (48-21), like Borger a member of District 1-3A. Both teams run a spread offense and like to put the ball in the air. The Bulldogs, who are averaging 414 yards total offense while allowing 410, are led by QB Trent Kirklin, who has thrown for more than 420 yards and five touchdowns. Bushland, ranked No. 3 in The AP poll in 2A, averages 438 yards total offense while allowing nearly 300. The Falcons are led by QB Sawyer Cornelius, who has completed 40-of-65 passes for 479 yards and eight touchdowns. Crockett Gillmore is averaging 23.6 yards per catch with three TD receptions, while versatile Michael Matthews has caught nine passes for 170 yards (18.9) and two TDs.

# Did You Know? The last time Borger started a season with three consecutive wins was 1999 when it defeated Clovis, N.M., Perryton and Tascosa en route to an 8-3 record. The Bulldogs won their next game for a 4-0 start. Bushland has won 10 straight regular-season games since losing to Muleshoe on Nov. 2, 2007.
