Rivalries
Two of the best rivalries the Texas Panhandle offers take place in District 3-4A. On Oct. 9, Parr vs. Parr III unfolds when Palo Duro coach Steve Parr (the dad) meets the Caprock Longhorns coached by Seth Parr (the son). Then on Oct. 30 it’s Randal vs. Canyon for CISD bragging rights.

Take It To The Bank
If watching quarterback play is your thing, District 3-4A will delight you in 2009 with the talents of Pampa’s Alex Clendening, Palo Duro’s Jeron Grayson, Canyon’s Conner Moore and Dumas senior Aaron Thomas.

What’s new
Two new coaches enter the district this year with Bryan Wood guiding the Randall Raiders and Heath Parker the Pampa Harvesters. Wood and Parker each have coached in 3-4A previously.
